The actress is also famous for her leading roles in the films of the 1980s Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most recognizable role was from the film comedy drama La Dolce Vita. The film was both a critical and commercial success, and it won an award of the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Before she began her acting career it was her job to be Sweden's fashion model. In the end, she was crowned Miss Sweden contest. After that, she moved to US after which she started appearing in various films as minor roles. She was the Venusian Guard on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars, her first credits role. In the following year, she won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category after her appearance in the film Blood Alley.
